500kcal, 8.6g Pro, 20.6g fat per 250mL can.

Hello-

I have a pt with cystic fibrosis on hemodialysis 54kg- wants to gain wt. The

problem with current TF plus oral supplementation his BUN are over 100 and doc

wants him to decrease prot intake. Pt wants to gain weight and is fearful with

decreasing TF he will lose wt.

Does anyone have any recipes or suggestions on high Kcal low prot foods-- he can

not tolerate butter or a lot of high fat items.
