Guest guest
I saw mine today. My GI had recommended that he try Remicade and said she would call him, but she hadn't called. He also said her note kind of " beat around the bush. " He actually talked about Humira or Remicade and we settled on Remicade. So we need to get pre-approved by my insurance. I got a TB test today. The problem is that I need to have it checked between 12:30 Friday and Saturday. My husband is having foot surgery Friday and will be done about that time. So I'll have to figure out a way to get it checked without leaving him home a long time. I can't see where they gave it to me right now. I also got my flu shot while I was there. Two of my complaints have been with shoulder pain and fatigue. Today he said that if the Remicade knocks them out, then we know they were caused by the RA and if it doesn't knock them out, then I am just tired and/or have bursitis in my shoulder. I thought he wasn't treating my shoulder pain like it was from RA. And I'm a little disappointed that he doesn't seem to know how debilitating the fatigue can be. I don't know how long before I'll find out if it's approved, but I get to stop taking Arava right now. dd **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
