Guest guest
Hey everyone, I hope everyone is having a great day. My rheumy finally called today. My appointment at the pulmonary doctor will be Nov 3, unless someone cancels. I go off the mtx pills, and start mtx injections. I'm kind of excited about that, when on it before, no horrible side effects. I asked about prescribing a med for fatigue, the nurse told me there was NOT a med for fatigue. I told her, that I knew someone who was on a med for it, and she didn't say anything. She told me, I was fatigued because my Vit D is so low. My doctor advised to get some B-12 and Folate, so I'll do that. My hubby will be coming home today, so I might not be on the PC AS MUCH, ya'll need a break, lol. He leaves again Saturday, so I'll be back. I will try to get on here though. I pray you all have a pain free evening, Tawny

Guest guest
Tawny, Do you remember my gp put me on a supplement for the EXTREME fatigue the beta-blocker was causing? I told you that I would let you know how it went. First let me state that I stopped the beta-blockers. My cardio doc says that I am hyper-sensitive to them. I have had more energy though than before when I didn't take them. Also another quite alarming effect that I am so excited about is that my angina is much, much better. I didn't know why it just seemed to improve and instead of having it about 75% of the time it is now like 15% of the time. Finally this morning I remembered when taking my meds. Please check with your rheummy about this. I do not suggest that ANYONE buy this or take it without your doctor's approval. It does have some drug and other illness interactions, so this is not for everyone! This is an over the counter supplement, Coenzyme Q-10, and a month supply cost me about $16. I take a 100mg capsul once a day. I am including a link so that you can read about it. http://faculty.washington.edu/ely/coenzq10.html I hope you are feeling better today.
