Guest guest
I agree! And yes, I definitely have major memory loss that does get better (though not all better) on Doxy. Guest guest
, you take it the same way you would take the Minocin. The basic protocol calls for 100 mg. M-W-F, but sometimes doctor's prescribe it differently - depending on the patient. Here are some of the variations - - - 100 mg. twice a day M-W-F - 100 mg. daily - 100 mg. M-F - 100 mg. twice a day - 100 mg. twice a day M-F Just remember, the organisms causing these diseases multiply slowly so most of the time there is nothing gained by taking it daily, and the more you take the greater your risk of fungal infections and leaky gut. Guest guest
This may be a stupid question but can you have Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis? I didn't know that it was possible to have two or more autoimmune diseases at the same time. love Re: rheumatic doxycycline I am on Doxycycline for my rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus and Sjogrens Syndrome, and it helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Less pain, stiffness, no rash or fevers anymore, more energy. My dosage is 100 mg 2x day. Hope that helps, and GOOD LUCK!! Guest guest
, I am in bad shape after 24 years of RA. in October last year I started getting swollen reddish legs, discolored stools and foul smelling urine. When I stopped mino, the urine and stool would get back to normal in a few days. I tried that twice to make sure it's the mino and then i tried doxy with the same bad result. two weeks ago I started drinking vegetable juices and eating a gluten free diet. i also take niacinamide, b-6, amino acids, vit c and spectra 405-R an herb combination. this will give my liver and kidneys a break. ________________________________ From: Sauve <moniquesauve@...> rheumatic Sent: Friday, July 10, 2009 5:42:20 PM Subject: rheumatic Re: doxycycline hi group thanks for answers on doxy. anna what do you mean by this? what symptoms do you get form mino and doxy? how are you controlling the RA now? thanks monique now, I have bad reactions to both and I think is liver toxicity related. Guest guest
Yes, I have been diagnosed with RA-- BECAUSE of the overactive autoimmune system (Lupus and Sjogren's Syndrome--also diagnosed with blood work, etc.) attacking my cartilage and tissues. I have had two knee surgeries and have no cartilage left in my knees. I think it can be relatively common, actually, to have more than one autoimmune disorder.
