I agree that crystal ball would be a help..........Doreen Thanks for your kind message Doreen. Wouldn't it be nice to have a crystal ball so as to avoid mistakes. Or maybe we're meant to take a certain path in life for a reason. It's a shame some of us have to find out the hard way what this disease is capable of doing to us - that's why I want to tell others to at least be aware of what's happening to their body. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm trying to rain on anyone's parade. I'm realising now that there are many types and degrees of RA. For most of us for whom RA comes on slowly, we tend to muck around and not take meds for a long time, because we feel there is no urgency. If we can get away with painkillers for a while, it seems ok. Maybe that's not such a bad thing, I don't know.
