Thanks for clearing that up . It's nice to know that you are vigilant in

keeping the list safe. I've been thru all that on other lists when the

moderator wasn't interesting in protecting the members. It can be hell.

best,

[sPAM][ ] GROUP RELATED - About moderation status

About moderation status at RA-Support:

When they join, all new members come into RA-Support on moderation

status automatically. I must read each post from anyone who is on

moderation status and then approve it before the post reaches the

group. There is no set time after which I will change the status of a

new member. Usually, I wait until a member is a regular poster who is

not causing any problems before changing his or her settings.

There are circumstances under which I will place established members

back on moderation.

Members are placed on moderation in order to protect our group. A lot

of spammers join and attempt to post. People with other questionable

motives join and stay. Others have links in their messages or

signatures which aren't allowed, and they can't seem to remember to

remove them. And so on.

If you are being moderated and you post something objectionable, I

will reject the post along with an explanation. If your posts are not

showing up and you haven't received the post back with my note, please

contact me privately. Be sure my address is in your contact list or

address book; otherwise, rejections and other correspondence from me

may not make it to you. This is a big problem, particularly for AOL

users.

Whether you are on moderation status or not, if you have broken the

rules in some fashion and don't appear to be taking my suggestions

seriously, you will probably find yourself on moderation for quite

some time.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Moderator, RA-Support
