Toni - Saying goodbye

Hi Toni, I'm new here and have found the people very supportive, but I also had

a problem getting my posts through to this list, so i know how you feel. I

typed several posts thinking the first one didn't get thru ... i normally see

them coome up right away on the website, but instead they went thru much later

and I felt a bit embarassed that i subjected everyone to basically the same

story multiple times. Maybe the posts are moderated, I don't know. I've never

really had a problem on other lists so it's a bit unsual. Someone mentioned

you're in business... what sort of business are you running ?

all the best,

Leonie (Australia)

[ ] Re: Saying goodbye

I really do not want to go...but is driving me crazy. It seems

to only be this group. I am not sure what the problem is. But when

you posts take hours or never appear it really does leave you wondering.

I don't have this problem in the other groups I am a member of...which

is why it leaves me rather suspicious.

Yes we did meet here many years ago. I also met many other wonderful

people. Maybe I should start posting from and not from my e-mail.

Leonie,

I actually did figure out the reason why mine were either taking

forever to appear or not showing up at all. I WAS on moderation. I

think for now I am off.

When did not know I was on moderation as I post from my e-mail. so

when I started coming here to the group website to post I got the

warning.

As for the reasons why. I have asked and never gotten an answer. If

one was sent...maybe that went into cyberspace too and I never got to

read it who knows!

's posts on moderation pretty much answered it all for me. Its

all at the discretion of the moderator and group owner and they do not

have to tell specifics because it makes there moderation techniques

less effective. ( I am paraphrasing here)

But for now it seems to be fixed...lets see how long it stays fixed

before we have to round again about it.

I do appreciate the positive responses from the group...both public

and private as well as the info on other groups.

Toni,

As I said last night, if you have AOL and I am not in your address

book, you probably will not receive my explanation for each rejection

or any other correspondence from me.

that simply is not not true. as you would appear in my e-mail box

or my spam box. I have never gotten anything from you....and I can

see again I am back on moderation. So is this some sort of game!

Toni,

It's absolutely true. It's not getting to you, not even as spam,

because AOL is returning it to me. I have saved the returned mail.

Rejections come from my E-mail address. Regular mail from the group

comes from .

Please contact me privately about this if you have further questions.

I do not want to get involved in this drama but would like to clarify that the

emails would be coming from -moderator and not 's

personal email address.

Kami,

You are now involved in the drama.

Moderated posts that are rejected by me are sent to the author via my

personal address (rheumatoid.arthritis.support@...).
