I have just been to my Rheumy and she suggested I may have another condition but can't remember the name of it. It starts with " P " and she also mentioned it was like fybromyalgia. Does anyone know what this might be? Polymyalgia rheumatica? My RA doc expected me to have it and was surprised that my blood work showed a strong RA factor. dd **************New MapQuest Local shows what's happening at your destination. Guest guest
Could it have been Polymyalgia Rheumatica? Some of the symptoms are very similar. Then there's Polymyositis. You can try Googling these and see what you find. I'm not a doctor but these conditions along with Sarcoidosis were considered during the initial diagnostic work. Good luck! Guest guest
Instead of guessing call the doctors office and have the nurse check the chart. If you have trouble understanding what the nurse is saying ask her to spell it for you. So many of the names sound familiar but are totally different. No need worring about something that does not apply.
