Guest guest
Well, hummm... I wonder what she considers strange then. She emphasized lots when she said lots of blood work but.... Pffttt....I am used to that. I sure will keep you posted. After reading how some on here have had to go to many docs to find one they like I hope I'm not getting my hopes up with this guy although I have never been so happy and excited for a doctors appointment. I know you all understand that but most people wouldn't. Oh and has anyone ever had their teeth hurt? My teeth and jaw hurt too. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, So the only weird things were manipulating my joints. The blood tests showed that it was RA. He said the rheumatoid factor was 8 times normal. Let us know how it goes. ____________________________________________________________ Click to find information on your credit score and your credit report. http://thirdpartyoffers.netzero.net/TGL2241/fc/Ioyw6i4txnw2DWNvVEA5IZfJB0N37UXcY\ p6ltyZ4cQkqMwnP5W0amj/
Guest guest
Hi ! I have teeth and jaw pain..I have TMJ so that might be why. Many of us with chronic pain grind our teeth and night in our sleep or clench our jaw as a reaction to the bad pain. I try a warm steamed cloth and just do stretches (like yawning) to help ease the muscles..sometimes I resort to the heating pad on my face:) From: <jaayimee@...> Subject: [ ] Re: seeing the rheumy soon Date: Monday, July 28, 2008, 9:22 AM Well, hummm... Guest guest
Hi ! Where are you in SW MI. We are south of Kalamazoo. I'll have to look up TMJ. Now that you mention it some times I will realize I am clenching my jaw and will myself to relax it but every time I wonder how often I do that without realizing it. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Hi ! Guest guest
, Are you on the Sillyaks list or maybe a quilting list? I'm wondering if we've compared where we live before. I live 20 mins south of Kalamazoo in Constantine. My memory is just awful but I thought we were talking about the weather not too long ago, it may have even been on this list. LOL isn't it terrible! I'm only 31 and I've noticed lately that I'm even having trouble remembering my goats name at times. Scary. Do you happen to have the name of the doc in Kalamazoo, maybe I lucked out and it's my doc. His name is Taborne. I hope I like him and don't have my hopes up too high. You're traveling a decent distance to see your doc. I'm guessing seronegative means no positive Ra blood result? That would be me. My CRP was very high and the sed rate had the neurologist thinking I had inflammation around my heart or Lupus. I'll be very interested in hearing what he says about the blood work. I've had so much blood work drawn in the past year he has a lot to work from. Everything you mention about TMJ I have issues with. How were you diagnosed with it? I think I need to spefically ask about it. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Hi ! I am about 40 minutes from Kalamazoo. I am right on Lake Michigan near South Haven and St. Joe!! I hope that your appointment goes well! I go to U of M for treatment but have just heard from my neighbor whose sister is a nurse about a really great rheumatologist in Kalamazoo that was able to diagnose a man who had a rare rheumatological disease when all his lab works were coming back seronegative. Mine do that except for the CRP, Westegren and Sed Rate. I'm almost thinking of checking him out for a second opinion and because he's closer. My physical therapist and I had that discussion this evening. He stated that even though the hospital I go to is one of the best in the nation, academic hospitals tend to test and test until they get a diagnosis and not really consider other conventional medication approaches. I hope the research on TMJ helps you! Another thing to notice with TMJ is if you favor one side of the mouth to chew on when eating. Sometimes, in a bad flare you might hear a popping sound or feel something in your jaw feel like its out of place. Mine doesn't do that as much as it used to but hurts quite often..I just realized I'm clenching my teeth now again:) ____________________________________________________________ Fashion Design Education - Click Here! http://thirdpartyoffers.netzero.net/TGL2241/fc/Ioyw6i4vDzHTiX2c4mPcElFHaHSyBipSh\ v7s9lfWyHwxMuYyAqYJ2H/
