Guest guest
It seems to me that Medicaid is designed for young women that have kids, not for those of us that are dealing with old age issues. Lots of us don't consider any of that when learning to survive. The most important consideration for us is Medicare, and it holds it's own traps. Medicare is still cutting payments to doctors and hospitals, and we're left holding the bag. I used to not get bills from my Rheumy, but now am expected to pay the co-pay on visits. The latest one was more than $35 and higher is in the near future. Again, as you're contemplating moving from the state you live in, it won't be greener on the other side. AFAIK, we just have to 'suck-it-up'.
