Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I know how you feel, here in Cornwall we have had nothing but rain all summer but we had warm dry weather last week and it made a huge difference. We are back to cold, wet and windy and my joints are letting me know that they don't like it. I try and keep warm and keep moving as much as possible. Hopefully we will have a dry and bright winter this year. Masses of luck to you x
Guest guest
I am sorry to hear you are both suffering with the cold weather. The weather here in Southern Oregon has changed too.......a couple days ago it was 90 and now we are wet and cold. The damp cool weather seems to bother me the most. I felt crappy all day and just wanted to lay around but sometimes that makes it worse. I take lots of hot showers and love to sit in my hot tub every night before going to bed. It makes such a difference, I cannot stand the pressure of jets on me cause of the fibro but just the soaking in hot water helps. Someone told me that the drink Tonc Water every day to help their joints..........not sure if that helps but this person swears by it........ Hope you will all be as pain free as you can. Date: Friday, October 3, 2008, 3:09 PM Sorry you are having such a rough time now Sharon. Cold weather really effects my joints also. Since I have Raynald's syndrome, my hands and feet get very cold and white during our winter. I bought hand and feet warmers which help when I an outside. Have to wear gloves and socks to keep them in though. Hot packs are nice, too. Hope you feel better soon. warm hugs, Debbie L -- In @gro ups.com, Sharon Turtnbull <rupertsmum@ ...> wrote: > > Hi > > I just wanted to post and say im having a real bad week, the weather has changed here in scotland and its the type of cold that gets right into your bones!!
