Guest guest
Kami and group; Kami I worry about that now.. My children are in their 30s and I don't want them to get RA.. I hope it's not genetic.. Me and grandma are the only ones that got RA in my whole family... I have 9 brothers and sisters and none of them has RA (thank God).. Kami I am so sorry you have to deal with this .. I know from your post that you would rather have it than to see your young child with it.. I remember over the years reading about juvenile arthritis.. We can accept it with a sorrow when we get it,, but not our babies.. My adult children will always be my babies.. We try to protect our children from everything and anything.. Your dealing with a nasty cruel disease on your child.. I pray my kids don't get it even in their old age.. I pray that she has pain free days.. Yes that sucks and it don't seem fair.. RA is suppose to be an elderly disease.. I can take it now.. THanks gentle hugs Clora > Having a doctor tell you that he thinks your 14 year old DAUGHTER has psoriatic arthritis..... > > This is why I have not been online long enough to reply to posts. Guest guest
Oh, Kami, So sorry. Keep your head up. What a lot on your plate. But you will cope. Life is just not FAIR. People do not bring illnesses on themselves,or somehow deserve them as some would have us believe. I remember learning that lesson so early when I worked in paediatrics.....No answer to the why. Hope you have good support for you and your daughter. Best wishes, Chris UK From: nana2livi <s.p5315@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Wanna know what sucks more than having RA? Guest guest
Wow (((((Kami))))), my prayers are with you and your daughter. As Moms we want to do everything we can to protect our children, but when they get something like this, we feel especially helpless and inadequate (my daughter has Multiple Sclerosis). My prayers are that your daughter will be put into remission soon so that her life is not interrupted anymore by this disease. May God Bless you and your family........Doreen Having a doctor tell you that he thinks your 14 year old DAUGHTER has psoriatic arthritis..... Guest guest
Sorry to hear this, Kami. I hope she doesn't have psoriatic arthritis. I'm not sure if you would consider going to NY, but Lehman has a good reputation: http://www.goldscout.com/ Not an MD On Mon, Oct 6, 2008 at 5:21 PM, ~ Kami ~ <kamilleon@...> wrote: > Having a doctor tell you that he thinks your 14 year old DAUGHTER has > psoriatic arthritis..... > > This is why I have not been online long enough to reply to posts.
