hope you have a quick recovery. Strep throat can be very painful!

Hi all,

I have strep throat. I'm on antibiotic and know that I shouldn't use my MTX or

Enbrel until the antibiotics are finished. What I'm wondering is if strep throat

has any other complications for people with RA? Anyone with any experience?

Thank you Kami! It does hurt, that's for sure. I found out that the antibiotic

can't be taken with MTX. However, I had already been told by my rheumy that

anytime I take antibiotic, to go off my Enbrel and MTX.

On another note.........so sorry to hear about your daughter. Prayers going up

that it will not be too serious!

Phyllis,

I know your feeling terrible right now, I've had strep throat SO many

times in my life. You just stay in bed, get plenty of rest, plenty

of liquids and soup, and take all your meds. I can be a mother hen

sometimes, get better, Tawny
