Guest guest
I am five weeks post op and still haven't gotten my period yet. I saw my doctor last week and he said that's perfectly normal, especially since I was on Lupron. It takes awhile for the ovaries to kick back in. Of course I would check with your doctor again to be safe.

Guest guest
I phoned my doctor's office today and finally got to talk to his secretary and not the answering machine. His secretary phoned me back and told me that he wants to see me soon about not having my periods still, so I go on February 6th the earliest I could get in. My doctor did mention to me when I received my last shot of lupron that it could be in my system for 2 months after that shot. But what I mean about no periods is that I get the cramping and feeling that I am starting to flow but when I go to the bathroom there will be nothing and that has happen 3 times now, that is why I am so concerned about not happening my period still. > I am five weeks post op and still haven't gotten my period yet. Guest guest
Hi Renne, I am wondering if you got your peroid now. Actually another member of this group asked her doctor about the period thing and her doctor told her that you should have your period before 8 weeks post-op. Guest guest
Hi Renita, I haven't really talk to my doctor that did the myo but I did phone his office and he wants to see me within a month time and no longer, so I go on Feb 6th to see him and hopefully by then my period will start. But I have been told that my period should of started by now. And everyone else I know that had their myo recently has got their period back already. Guest guest
How long has it been since your last Lupron injection? The literature says it takes 60 to 90 days for the lupron to leave your system. You might want to ask your Dr. about that. --- lullymore wrote: > It was about 6 - 7 weeks after my myo before my > peiod came. > > > > > > I am 8 weeks post op now and still don't have a > period. Guest guest
I would like to comment Resumption of one's periods also might depend on one's age tricial1972 wrote: > Hi Renita, > > I haven't really talk to my doctor that did the myo but I did phone > his office and he wants to see me within a month time and no longer, > so I go on Feb 6th to see him and hopefully by then my period will > start.
