Guest guest
Hi Everyone, This is an EXCELLENT article that addresses vision problems. Some of these problems described and discussed here are sometimes not mentioned by the specialists that we see for colombomas. Behavioral optometrists are more likely to delve into these issues and their treatments. I believe these kinds of problems can affect behavior, learning and interactions. I am certain these kinds of issues have affected Kendra's ability to process sign language. Two examples of the ways that Kendra's vision is impacted by the problems are: taking in information peripherally instead of looking at something directly, and not being able to discriminate shapes such as the differences between circles, squares, rectangles and triangles even though she can read. :-) http://www.children-special-needs.org/vision_therapy/esophoria_reading.html ---------- [DEFAULT] BASEURL=http://www.children-special-needs.org/vision_therapy/esophoria_reading.h\ tml [internetShortcut] URL=http://www.children-special-needs.org/vision_therapy/esophoria_reading.html Modified=40F39231A256C201B1 ----------
