My worse time is when I wake up.This morning I took the panadol which on its own would not be enough so I took the morning Lyrica then, away from my other morning meds, relief less pain. I find Celebrex works for me, however my GP does not want me on it, my rheumo is ok with it. The reason being I become anaemic every 4 months and have to take iron tabs. A camera endoscopy revealed small ulcers in my small bowel. I have chosen to take the celebrex, knowing the risks, being desperate for some kind of pain relief. Hopefully I will be able to stop the celebrex when they get the pain under good control. I have been on Plaquenil since 2003, it helped with the pain but is not enough on it's own. I get my eyes checked every year. For me heat is the key, I would be lost without my hot packs. I make my own made to shape to fit the part in pain. I fill them with millet as I find it is softer to lie on. I have to watch where I put them now because of the patches. Heat on the patches can increase the dose of medication you get. Hope you have a good day. Bev
