Guest guest
, I just read your post about not being able to afford a Rheumy. I am not sure where you live but in Iowa you can go to The University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for free. In Minnesota you can go to the clinics in Rochester, and as for me, I live in Iowa but I go to Sioux Valley Hospitals and Clinics in Sioux Falls. That one is not free but they have never asked me for a dime upfront. Also if there are any Christian Rheumy in your church or the church of a friend I have found they will also sometimes see you for little or no cost. What I am trying to say is Hon, you need to be seen. Before the disease takes over and your bones begin to deform. I am also a member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, so when I saw that in your post my heart reached out even more. If you need a friend who understands I am here to listen. I have been right where you are with the thoughts many times myself, not a fun place to be huh? I also know that depression is a real disease, and it kills just like any other disease does. You see, I lost my son at when he was a seventeen and a junior in high school to this disease. You can visit him and me at http://members.tripod.com/tim_heckroth/ My prayers are with you, I wish I had the answers you desperately seek, as I truly do know and understand the daily struggles. Between the Fibro, RA and Depression many days can be really hard to get through. In Christ's Love Vicki Iowa
