Increase in pain since Humira

Ugh.

So I went to the doctor on Tuesday and he noticed that there has been no

improvement with my hands during the 6 weeks of 20 mg MTX..... I brought my

Humira pens with me and did my first self-injection. I really REALLY had high

hopes for this medication!!!!!! Maybe I still do but good heavens.... I am in

more pain than normal today and one miserable umm..... lady. (And I am using

that term VERY loosely.... I am quite the witch with a Sooooo..... He told

me.... If I see no improvement in 2 weeks, I am to start another regime of

steroids..... (12 days starting 20 for 3, 15 for 3, 10 for 3, and 5 for 3)

I want to start them NOW.

Being the good patient I am.... I think I am going to pop a Vicodin or 2 and

head to bed and see what it's like when I wake up... I am pretty sure I will be

calling him tomorrow and begging to start the steroids.....
