Hi Cheryl,

I live in Central Queensland, we only have one Rheumy doc who

services our area (from Bundy to Townsville & evrything west of

there) & getting info from him is like the pro-verbal hens teeth...

I don't suppose one can devulge their Doc's name can they? I don't

mind travelling. These days it's only a 1/2 hr drive & an hours

flight to brissy anyway :)

I'm really in the market for a new Rheumy but don't want to have to

fork out the " new patient " fee (around $300 +) when I shop around. I

checked out a site (i thinks it's mydr.com.au) that has doc reviews,

not many reviews really considering number of doc's there must be in

Qld.

I'm getting pretty tired of hearing ppl saying " well Dr. Klestov is

a very busy man... " I'm 30 years old & hoping to be working for at

least another 30! But i feel like I'm being left to rust because I'm

not a " severe " case {I'm still get a lot of pain at times, even if I

not practically bed ridden like last flare (or at least i would have

been if i hadn't forced myself to work!)} Makes you feel like you're

just another number!

I'm on Pyralin atm, started in late June/early july. Juries still out

about whether it is helping at all. The prednisone has definitely

helped with the swelling in my hands/wrists though.

Sincerely,

Sharon
