Colonoscopy - the $&*##@! prep

Kami and all...

First off, whoever named that prep Go Litely has a nasty sense of

humor...there is nothing Lite about it. You go fast and furious! Maybe you

are light

on your feet to get to the bathroom, I don't know....maybe you travel at

lightening speed????? oh well.....no matter, it's all evil. I have such a

good

rapport with my Dr. that once while he was doing my exam, I asked him why on

earth he picked this specialty.....LOL. I can't help myself. Give me drugs,

I'll ask anything.

Just want to say I am all for a different type of prep for a

colonoscopy. My Gastro is with a big group and they even have the film

capsule to swallow. He didn't offer it to me which is just as well

since my insurance probably won't pay for it.

Just want to say I am all for a different type of prep for a

colonoscopy. My Gastro is with a big group and they even have the film

capsule to swallow. He didn't offer it to me which is just as well

since my insurance probably won't pay for it.

Hi Sue,

The only reason I did was because I had eggplant parmesan for dinner the

night before the test. Go Lytely would be my evil prep of choice though

for

next time.

The surgeon that did my colonoscopy about six years ago said that he

liked Go Litely because it allowed the instrument to glide smoothly. I

hated it, and next time I have to drink it, I'm definitely not going to

drink it all!
