Guest guest
Mine is psoriatic arthritis not ra i stayed on here as the treatments are the same. Yes psoriasis is very painful. Its actually more evil than ra from what they say. Since all my blood work only showed the high crp my doctor said it was hard for him to diagnos either ra or psoriasis he went with the psoriatic arthritis as far as for the health insurance. Mine was pretty bad i started with small rash then it turned to huge silver dollar types all over my legs, my back and some on my elbows. I also have complex regional pain syndrome which is a huge diagnosis in itself. I started with a stress fracture and then the psoriasis etc. I now can finally use things on my legs to shave as since the methotrexate its 90 percent better. It hurt like crazy burned actually. It can go into your joints very fast. I now use aveeno products like for shaving my legs. I just developed the psoriasis at age 43 .. Thank god for a good rheumatologist. People can have psoriatic arthritis and ra from what he told me. The flare i had was the same as probably most on here had when they first started with their symptoms. The methotrexate has been a blessing for me. I could not walk was using a walker and a cane and my feet were really bad. Its made a huge difference .. Hope this helps.
