Guest guest
Chriss and group; Thanks Chriss,,, I knew it would go ok cause I have had the test before.. I slept good all night except I get up once every night to use the bathroom... Before I used a c-pap,,, I got up about 10 times a night to go to the bathroom... I have that problem to with postings... I get the names mixed up and end up putting the wrong name down for a post... I think we all know what the post was for and the mistakes I made on names when sending posts.... If that makes any sense haaaaaaaa. Yes,,, I must have missed the post Dodge sent on pain cause I don't remember reading it... Maybe he can repost it... or send another one.. I am really interested on anything about pain.. I sure am sorry that any of us has to suffer the pain we suffer... If there is no pargraphing I have a hard time reading a post and give up sometimes cause I lose my place a lot and the train of thought. The reason I believe there are no pain tolerance levels just different pain period with all of us,,,, is because I had pain my entire adult life,,, and I notices that it's not pain level just how the disease effect each person.. A theory that I learned by living it. Staphanie has really motivated me,, If she can do it ,, I can do it better,,, may take me a little longer haaaaaaaaaaa.... But yes I can do it. Its like the little train that think I can,,, think I can,, think I can,, I can ,,, I can I can. and the little train makes it up the long hill to the top. My daddy was for equality for men and women... I told him one day I can't do that only boys can.. He replied to me " You can do it and you can do it better. " Growing up me and my brothers did it all... Washed dishes,,, dug ditches,,, dad didnt discriminate against his daughters or his sons haaaaaaaaa. Daddy was a kind gentle man with a firm hand.. He is in heaven waiting for me and the others.... I pray for pain free day for everyone and God bless you all. gentle kind hugs Clora > > Hello Clora, Tawny, , Dodge and Bob and all dear group including new members, who have recently introduced themselves. > > Glad your sleep test went OK, Clora, was thinking of you. > > The postings are getting so fast and furious and covering some very important topics (I can't remember if it was Doreeen or Shirley that commented so wisely about it (both being so wise !) that it certainly has been difficult to keep up. > > I wondered if others missed Dodge's interesting posting about pain? > > I was expecting a trail of post following that. Or perhaps people didn't read down to the interesting bits about 'crossed nerve messages' etc. I feel it is very relevant to some of the pain , especially the fibromyalgia type.* that doctors seem to be slow to recognise. (Read my reply to Dodge for more on that if you have time.) Both of us posted Wednesday. > > As you say so clearly Clora there are many different types of pain with these diseases. And I do agree with your questioning the low pain tolerance theory. > > (*I hope that perhaps could give a link to the original so that the text might be easier to follow.)?? > > But things can change, as 's uplifting post bears witness.Great news, so should give hope to others. Other evidence that it is not just about medication but should be a flexible raft of treatments and support, including funding! > Best wishes and hoping for relief to allfrom all your many and various pains. > Chris > UK > (retired doc, non rheum, good friend has RA and no computer > > > > From: CLORA <clora4jesus@...> > Subject: [ ] Re: Can't take pain > > Date: Thursday, 2 October, 2008, 4:17 PM > > > > > > > Vicki and group; > > There are many doctors who won't give out good pain meds for fear of > getting botherd by the governmen also on account of those that mess > it up for us just wanting to get high..
