So sorry about your diagnosis, but I am glad you came to our group.

This group has really been a God send for me. I rely on it for all

of my ups, downs and questions.

You rheummy will do a lot of bloodwork, x-rays and physical

examination. With all of this they will determine where you are.

No one knows how quickly or slowly it will advance. Hopefully you

can get on some good meds and put it into remission quickly.

Ihave been on Methotrexate for 16 months now and I added Enbrel 5

weeks ago. I know my RA is still active, but I am sure that it has

been slowed down some.

I hope you get some really good replies and informaion.

Hi :

So sorry you are suffering with RA. Much too young to have to deal with

it.

I have had it for 5 years, and I am 68. I had never heard of it before,

and it is one awful disease. I take the maximum dose of Sulfasalazine,

Placquenil, MTX. inject. and 10 mg. each day of Prednisone. My Rheumy

has me in better shape now with these meds. My flares are shorter, and

longer in between. Thank God.

I hope your Rheumy visit goes well for you, and you start to treat your

RA aggresively. I pray you will be pain free soon.

Glad you joined this wonderful group. They have all helped me so very

much. I care.

Hugs,

Barbara
