Guest guest
Thank you for sharing. To be able to set aside this disease for a day is a blessing. There are times the memories created exceed the pain of recuperation.... I'm just now getting over pneumonia so of course I've been off enbrel for a while. But I made up my mind that I was going to laugh, and dance, and enjoy seeing all my boys again no matter how much i was hurting. And boy did we! We all tore up the dance floor! I had so much fun dancing with my daughters, we did the twist, the electric slide, and the cuban shuffle together. One of my son's best friends even booty-danced with me!!! (he'd had a LOT of beer....) and had everybody in the place just falling out laughing. I was barely able to get out of bed on sunday morning for church but I tell ya I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! What a wonderful, joyous evening. Guest guest
How awesome for you! Sometimes we just have to grin and bear it. I had to for my own wedding! I was dead the next 2 days...and that was before my RA had progressed. I am sorry you are sick. I dread getting sick on Enbrel. I hope you are better soon and get back to pain free days. So happy that you made it to the wedding. People don't realize being us, that it's a courageous act to do that, especially while you are sick and not on your RA treatment. AWESOME!! I commend you. I am not sure if I would have done it. But I will next time, since you did. It is inspireing!
