Guest guest
Cherblue here, I really miss my baths. I have a very strong mate, (My hands/arms are to weak, deformed) but that's not the problem. Sitting on the hard tub really pains my derriere . Now I am just a shower girl with my shower chair so I can stay longer - my feet, especially my toes hurt so bad . I just had THR (Total Hip Replacement) on my left hip on 2/18/08, thought I would make it through therapy and walk again but no ... now my feet have given out---wheres my luck I ask.? I am happy most days -- and like most of us there are good days - really bad days - sleep days- some not so bad days. I really try to keep the humor - nothing diverts pain, depression, tiredness, just sick of it all days, as a really good bust out belly laughing moment. Thats my wish and blessing to y'all -I hope you find a little giggle factor each and every day . One of the things that gets affected with me is my upper arms -- not quite the shoulders. I was lamenting my loss and my husband told me he would help me get out. So I tried it -- got in, soaked and felt wonderful. Then it was time to get out. Couldn't do it. So I yelled for help. Well, he was watching TV with his headphones on and couldn't hear me yelling. Eventually, I was able to push myself around and get my butt up on the edge and get out, but it was an awful experience. I am so grateful that since I started treatment, I can again have my hot bath. dd **************Get fantasy football with free live scoring. Sign up for Fan House Fantasy Football today. Guest guest
Cheryl and my sweet Group; CHeryle, I have been in horrifying pain for over a year. I would lay in bed sometimes moan and groan. The weakness is aweful. I take a shower bath on a plastic milk crate with a towel on it. I am to big to sit in a tub. But I havent went through half of the suffering you been in. My heart aches for you and the others. Your attitude is so precious. You can giggle and laugh still that is so sweet. I am that type of person. I try to find humor in everything. Not so much anymore, RA has done a number on me. Your post is sweet and up lifting to me and I am sure for everyone else. I dont take showers when everyone is asleep or gone anymore. I had to crawl out of one naked. I didnt know I wouldn't be able to stand up the first time. I have learned a big lesson haaaaaaa. I have read a lot of post, where others had to do the same thing. At least I can still laugh and giggle from that heeheehee. Thanks gentle hugs everyone Clora
