Guest guest
Sherry, my mother had severe RA in the 60's and only had aspirin and Darvon to help her. There was some talk of gold treatments but it wasn't practical or working. She was really deformed by the time she died, and her internal organs were used up. I tend to think that was a blessing for her and us, we didn't have to watch her suffer. She was one of 8 siblings. One sister died of cancer, one from smoking, and the other 2 from complications from RA. I'm sold on the fact that it is genetic. My youngest daughter is showing the symptoms but won't go to the doctor to find out. She really doesn't want to hear it, thinking it will be better if she doesn't know...? Guest guest
I have a friend who was on the gold treatments for a while. I think they must have really helped her, as she has no deformities.
