I was tooling around the internet this morning and I looked up

information on Arava (leflunomide) as I have heard it mentioned

several times in this group. I was impressed with all of the

information this site has on RA and thought I would share this info

with you all:

http://www.arava.com/consumer/rheumatoid/faq.aspx

While Arava (leflunomide) might not be the right med for everyone, the

information provided on this site was very impressive and informative.

I hope it helps with some of the confusion some of us are feeling.

Dorene,

I actually had a good response to Arava. My imflammation was down so

was my pain. The draw back was my BP went way up, so I had to stop

it.

Thanks for the reply, Shirley. My Rheumy mentioned Arava once before,

then I started taking part in the clinical study. Now I have to either

wait until the study is over or remove myself from it. Time will tell.

I already take BP meds, so I wonder if the Arava would counteract that?
