Guest guest
Good luck  for the appt on Tuesday. (I would certainly add huge prayers too, if that was what I thought could have influence, but everyone must be honest with what they individually feel/believe,so I can't quite do that myself,) although I respect and value hugely others who do. It is probably my scientific background. I know you have been counting down too, with optimism and hope, and yet trying to protect yourself, again, if things go pear shaped (do you say that in US?) Feel for you, expectations/anxieties.  Oh, I must come clean and say I have just been reading your endearing blogs and looking at your photos, and enjoying your food photos and crafts.I am not sure of blog etiquette( being twice your age I think), so please I hope you don't mind my intrusion. We also had a cat called Rosie, lost sadly young last year, and are people who love the rural life. Your recent painting interest is also so lovely..and connects.... I had the needle in the nerve test and the one where they shock you, I couldn't feel either so no pain there thank goodness, and he said all was fine. But then he told me pheripheral neuropathy. To be honest I did not think him to be much of a doctor. So I wonder then why I am so numb everywhere. I think once I find out Tues what the rheumy says about my blood work I need a trip to my doc to investigate this more and find out the problem. It is getting to be more and more problematic every day. Thank you for the information. ,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,, ,, I'm confused about this, . You said that a neurologist told you that your nerves are fine, but you have peripheral neuropathy. Neuropathy is defined as damage to nerves. Peripheral just means that it is your peripheral extremities (arms, hands, feet and legs) I believe. This would not account for the burning/tingling sensations along your spine. I know it's all very confusing, particularly when we have more than one disease or illness. I also have several herniated discs. I think you need a clear clarification of the neuropathy. Did you have the nerve function test (EMG, I think it's called)? If you've had it, you'll remember since it can be painful - needles stuck in your leg or arm. Guest guest
Hi Thank you for your kind words. And thank you for your kind words about my blog and pictures. Have a look any time, that is what it is there for. I kind of just ramble on and it serves as a reminder for when I forget some thing. Sorry about your Rosie. I've been a bit concerned about mine because she seems like she is getting sick a lot over the last year. We love living here in the country. Most of the noise we get comes from the farm equipment or the dogs barking or goats yelling for their dinner. I hear about my blood test results from the rheumy today so will be interested in what those say. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Oh, I must come clean and say I have just been reading your endearing blogs and looking at your photos, and enjoying your food photos and crafts.I am not sure of blog etiquette( being twice your age I think), so please I hope you don't mind my intrusion.
