Guest guest
I have had RA for about 15 yrs now,and am 56 yrs old.MY mom's brother had RA and was so crippled he couldn't do anything for himself. He passed in the late sixties.I am not sure if he had meds, other than asprin. Also had a first cousin who had RA.She was in a wheelchair at 15.Before she died she had both knees and both hips replaced. She died from an accidental pain med overdose at 42.Before my mom's generation they just said that they had Rheumatism. There were no meds for the condition, just aspirin for pain.I know that stress makes me worse, but for me there is definately a family connection.Hugs,Sherry
Guest guest
Heidi M and Group Haaaaaaa. Your post cracked me up laughing. I will leave it underneath in case someone missed it. In that case, I gained weight and got RA. So all I have to do is lose weight and the RA will be ok. According to alot of my family they tell me I will be better if I lose weight haaaaaaaaaaa. I know losing weight is always better for someone over weight. All my illness is cause by over weitht to most of my family. haaaaaaaaaaa. gentle hugs everyone Clora > > OH OH OH I vote for losing weight as the cause LOL > Heidi M >
