Sorry but yes, arava can cause alopecia. I'm on 10 mgs per day.

I don't know if it is better than mtx though.

My GP told me that Arava is better than MTX.  Does anyone take it ? 

Does it cause hair loss as well ?  Thanks again...

Mine has thinned a lot but nothing too bad. I don't know what I would do without

the arava. Seems to be the only med I can handle.
