Today I had a hard knot come up on the bone of my wrist on the pinky side, This

is the bone is directly down from the pinky finger but on the wrist. It is

about five times the size of the other hands bone. Has anyone had anything like

this just come up? I know it was not there last nite because I have been

rubbing lotion on my hands and wrists every nite. It doesnt seem to hurt, thank

goodness. Thanks a lot a

Both of my wrists are like that. Mine did not come up over night

though. It is the RA. I am glad that yours doesn't hurt. The one on my

left wrist screams at me about fifty percent of the time.

Talk with your rheummy about it. My explained it but I can't remember

what all she said. Sorry.

I had something similar last year, also on my hand. If you go down your

thumb to the wrist, there's a bone that normally sticks out. Well, I had

what seemed like a very sharp bone sticking out there. Even my

rheumatologist was perplexed. He said that if it bothered me, we'd get it

x-rayed, but I didn't think much of it.

A couple of months later, I noticed that it was no longer there. No clue

what caused it.

Thanks Shirley, I have appt on 8/19 guess I can wait til then. Its one thing

and then another, knees are killing me, cant walk on ankle, hands are swollen,

just fallin apart. Thanks a lot a

These could be RA nodules. My boss has one on her elbow joint. Looks

like a round bump sticking up under the skin.
