Guest guest
To all of us on Enbrel: How careful do we have to be with our Immune System being more vulnerable? The first thing on the patient information says " people have died from serious infection. " But in reality...what steps do we have to take, to make sure we don't get that " serious infection. " I am in job search mode right now, and find myself reconsidering a lot or prosepects because I don't want to be in contact with a whole lot of people, or children or seniors or animals etc. I asked my brother to please not bring anyone over to my house that is sick, and especially, not his friend that had just returned from Cambodia, until he was checked out. My brother called me a hypochondriac and had that particular friend over the next day! Am I overreacting? Seriously, I am just trying to be careful. Also....can we still eat Sushi? I love sushi, but if my immune system is not as strong as it was, can I still eat it? I love the difference Enbrel has made just in this short time, but I find myself thinking of all the limitations I have now that I am taking it. But at the same time....it has opened up other aspects of my life....like the ability to exercise! Am I looking into it too much? Help! I am feeling confused, and a little upset. -
