Guest guest
Hi - just wanted to say welcome back and that I live here in Florida and am finding out that hurricane season (Jun-Nov) is not very conducive to RA. The barometric pressure is like a bad roller coaster ride as each storm or front moves through. I am looking forward to the cooler dryer air of our very short, so-called winter. Best of luck in finding whatever may work to help ease your pain............Doreen Hi L, Just returning from vacation in Florida so did not do well with the diet down there. I am doing pretty well since my return with aches and pains though. Some in knees and hips but not too bad. Sometimes I think I can handle a bit of these things and then it gets built up or something and if I go off wheat and sugar again then I get pretty fast results. I don't have celiac disease, or at least the one test the naturopath did said I don't. But I do wonder if there's some link to these things and RA. My rheumatologist said almost anyone would feel better excluding these things from their diet, so I'm not sure if it's the acidic level in my body that gets too high or what. Guess I'll just have to keep playing with it. I'm sorry about your back pain. That does make everything more difficult. Hope you find relief soon.
