We're gonna get down and dirty with the fat - we're gonna work hard, eat right and scare that nasty old fat right off our bodies!! AND in it's place we'll be lean, mean TOPS machines! LOL So are you ready Private Tonya?? Anyone else care to join? Be prepared though.....there will be NO holiday bulges allowed in this boot camp! LOL This unit must be willing to commit to regular exercise, eating healthy and making wise choices throughout the holidays and into the New Year! So if you're ready for the ride of your life - hop on and let's march all the way to KOPSLand!! (those of you in KOPSLand are needed too!! We need to KEEP you there! Are ya with us??) Upon "graduation" (the winner of the contest) from boot camp your drill instructor (me) will award you with a medal of honor!! PS: I'm truly serious if ya'll are ready for another loop contest and willing to join in - I'll work up the rest of the rules and we'll be off and running......literally! so.....SOUND OFF!! I forgot to send in my roll call for Tuesday I mananged to squeak off a 1 pound loss and now feel like i'm going into battle LOL I don't really know HOW I'm going to do it, or if it's even possible, but me and this weight are going into battle mode and I WILL WIN!!! My first goal is to do everything in my power to try to at least get back to where I was for the first weigh in of the year. I don't want to let my chapter down by being in the red at the end of the year! (18 pounds) My second goal is to be lighter on my birthday in February this year than I was last year! which should be easy if I can pull off the first goal. Third goal is to fit into the dress I bought last year for SRD this year! don't know what "weight" that needs to be, just know that it has to be a dress size smaller than last year Once those goals are reached - I'll work on the next set of goals. I don't know how realistic the first goal is, or if it can be done, but it won't be for lack of trying on my part. I've been watching the biggest loser show - these people are losing big amounts (of course if ALL I had to think about was my weight loss I could probably do that too) but if they can lose 30 & 40 pounds in a month.....why can't I lose at least 18? LOL ok....I'm probably dreaming....but then, I've always been a BIG dreamer! if I make it, great.....if I don't at least I know I gave it 100% right? I can always make up for it in 2005!! there....I'm rambling again - I'll shut up and go back to real life now LOL Melody Moris, Leader TOPS #Tx1454, Pleasanton http://www.texastops.org email: topsmama@... Guest guest
yes...you are very right...I need to keep on hand for evening something other than what I buy for the kiddo's...because that is what I snack on because thats the only snack keep...They would benefit from healthier snack too...Good advice...and will take and use it wisely...Thanks for you support Re: re: The BOB Boot Camp LOL Hey, Tonya - - - 14 pounds in 3 months is very good!! If the "nighttime munchies" and your problem, find some low calorie/low fat/low carb/whateever you are doing things to have on hand for your nightime munchies. Maybe some "lite" popcorn would work! I love the small packets that you can buy that are just one serving! And carrot sticks or celery sticks are good with some fat free ranch dressing - - or sugar free jello and sugar free pudding! Hang in there - - you can do it!! Guest guest
Melody, I got the information today that the loopers meeting at SRD will be on Friday from 1:30 to 2:30 - - - so hope everybody will be planning to get to San Angelo a little early!! Friday is really going to be full of "good stuff" - - so it would be great if a lot of people could come in on Thursday!! Most of us are so anxious to get there early that A LOT OF PEOPLE DO COME IN THURSDAY! And packets can be picked up Thursday night so you can avoid the rush on Friday! Guest guest
I'm definitely a " wannabe recruit " , but I think I'd like to see the rules before I sign on the dotted line, Sarge. This is better than being in the Army, though. They just say " I need 10 volunteers. You, you, you, etc. " LOL Unless something goes drastically wrong, I'll weigh less at the beginning of the new year than I did last year! Yay! I won't be as light as I had hoped, but I'm grateful to have what I have!
