HIV/AIDS Testing , laws and fees

Dear Forum,

I will appreciate any information from the members of this forum regarding the

followings :

i. What are the laws ,if any, regarding HIV testing in India? like anonymous

testing, maintaining privacy ,mode of operations etc.

ii. Are there any NGOs and /or Govt. Organizations in Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore/ or

elsewhere in India conduct saliva based rapid HIV test ? If so, I would

appreciate the names of the organizations.

iii. What is the cost for a test ?

iii. I would also appreciate any other associated information regarding HIV

testing in India.
