Guest guest
Hello. My name is Sharon and I am from Pennsylvania. I am 36 years old and I have been married to my husband for almost 5 years(our anniversary is in April). My real health problems started 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with TTP. Then 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and about six months ago I was diagnosed with lupus anti coagulants in my blood. Recently an elevated(between 75 and 82) Sed rate has had my dr looking for more answers and I recently had a bone scan which showed hot spots on both knees and something abnormal in the base of my skull. My mother in law works at the hospital and these are the preliminary results - I am waiting to hear from my doctor. . Sorry for the long introduction. LOL I am looking forward to meeting all of you and though my medical future is uncertain I am doing my best to keep my spirits up. I work from home writing articles for the Internet, which I love doing. With all of the appointments and things it's nice to have a flexible job. Have a great day and thank you for letting me join the group. Sharon

Guest guest
Welcome, welcome Sharon to our wonderful group. I know you will be so happy you found us. It has helped me so much, and I look forward to my RA e-mails every day. I know how hard it is to be so sick each day. Not much fun. I am sure your diseases have changed your life as they have changed mine. All is can do is get through one day at a time. Wishing you pain free days, and I hope you will feel a little better soon. God Bless you. Hugs, Barbara > > > > Hello. My name is Sharon and I am from Pennsylvania. Guest guest
Dena: a good physical therapist might be able to help stretch out those tight/contracted ligaments and help you regain some of your mobility. Guest guest
Dena, I bet you would qualify for medicare or medicaid insurance through disability. it sounds to me like you could use it. if you had insurance right now they would have you in physical therapy no question about it! you need to keep as much mobility as you can and you are progressing quickly. you could benefit greatly from PT while they are getting your medications right. maybe if you could afford a session or 2 they could instruct you and you could follow the routine at home. I have been in PT 3 times for my shoulders while I was waiting for a diagnosis and it did help. " safyre " <safyreshel@...>
