An infection, and the first doc missed it entirely because he was so

focused on not giving you the pain meds you need. Well, at least

you're being taken care of now. I always wonder how those who can't

speak up, or don't have someone to put the pressure on the system,

ever get the care they need. Maybe, probably, they don't. Glad you

are getting what you need, take care. It may be hard to fight that

infection with the immunosuppressants, hope that's not the case.

I know what you mean. If I hadn't had Rod with me both times, I probably would

have disintegrated. As it was, both times I was in tears. Nope, I'm not

ashamed to admit it. I'm a guy, and I cry when I hurt.

Dodge,

I am so glad to hear that you found out what was wrong and got

treated for it. It makes me wonder, what if you didn't get that

follow-up phone call what would have happend to you w/ a blood

infection. I hope that doc and nurse get written up at the very

least. Keep us informed, I hope you feel better.

One...two...three... shots of a Dilaudid/Morphine/Valium/Compazine

Dodge,

I have two words, thank God! I am so glad that you went back. I pray

that if you should ever need the ER again that you will get the same

doctor.

I am so, so relieved that you have the meds that you need.

I hope you get a good rest tonight.

I don't know how anyone could go through that without their loved ones

around... to comfort and to stand up for us.

I hope you are feeling better!

By the way... Real men cry!
