Saw Doc today

The last time I was there, I told him I went back up on prednisone because

the pain was coming back. He said that I should get down to 5 mg a day and then

I could get a cortisone shot if I needed it. So I made an appt and that was

today. The pain is in my knees and upper arms. So then he said 4 shots were

too many and I should choose 2. I chose my shoulders. They limit me the most

right now.

The plan he gave me is to go back on Arava after my colonscopy is done and

my intestines settle down. He also gave me a pain pill -- actually 100 of them.

I have another appt in October and if the Arava and Mtx don't work, we'll

try something else.

I hope you are feeling better and that you get a good report on your
