Awe ,,, I am so happy for you woo hoo halulujah... You got

your enbrel... I have been on humira injections for 4 weeks now..

I was told to let the injection warm up for about a half hour and it

won't sting... I did that and it worked...

I use the pen instead of the syriange... I guess it depends on the

person.. I love the pen its no hassle at all...... With in 24 hours

my RA pain was subsiding with in 2 days I had no pain from the

RA... It's so unbelievable but it's true...

I do have Osteo,,, My rhuemy will get agressive with that and

bursitis in my shoulders and back... It hurts pretty bad... I use

pain patches for the osteo now and I get shots in my hips and

shoulders for the bursitis,,, It helps some but not a lot...

Hopefully she can find something else to help it...

I also have very painful headaches my primary doctor is working on

that now.. I take lortabs for the headaches which barely helps.. If

I take one n a half lortabs it helps a lot... but it don't last long

about 4 hours... I just went for a second sleep study to see if the

c-pap setting is causing the headaches.

It took my insurance company about 5 weeks to approve my humira...

I think these companies work like a lottery.. Picking out ramdemly

people they are going to turn down.. You fought them,,,, good for

you... I pray they take all your pain away... God Bless and take

fighting for Enbrel, I found out yesterday I was finally approved!!!

I sent in my prescription today and should start the shots next

week!  I can't tell you how good I feel! I won! I won over the

insurance company!  It pays to fight!!  If anyone is having to

fight - stay strong!  You can do it just like I did!  You know what

will help your body - don't give up!!
