Good luck TAmmy with the new meds. I been taking lyrcia for a long

time and it really helps the fibro. I get eye exams every 6 months

cause sometimes lyrcia messes with the eyes. Mine exams have all been

great.

gentle hugs everyone

Tammy,

Arava did get my inflammation down which in turn really helped my

pain. I was also taking 2 MTX weekly. You remembered correctly. My

BP went way up with it. My rheummy told me to check it as often as

possible. I have one of those digital drug store monitors. When it

started going up I went to the firestation several times to get a

reading that I trusted. Thanks Dodge and all EMTs for you help and

kindness.

This may not happen with you but please do keep an eye on it.

I truly hope you get as good of results as I did without any side

effects.

Lyrica to see if that helps. He said to stay on the Gabapentin if

there is not a significant improvement on the Lyrica.

Today, he said to stay off of the MTX and now I get to try Arava.

How is everyone's experience with Arava? I did forget to ask him

about the possible impact on blood pressure. I remember reading

that some have experienced higher BP. That is not good for me, as

mine runs just a bit high.

month, then go to 7.5 for a month and then 5mg until i see him again

in 3 months. Despite being on the prednisone, my tests show there

is still inflammation, but that is probably due to the fact that I

haven't been taking MTX all summer and only the plaquinil.
