Kami,

I wanted matching front loaders, but they were out of the question.

My dryer and washer both decided that they were going to retire this

June. I bought a set of Maytags from Home Depot and LOVE them.

They do get the job done much more quickly. This is the first

matching set that I have ever owned. I bought my first washer from

Sears in 1970 and it lasted for almost 20 years! The clothes line

was my dryer for almost three years. That's how long it took me to

payoff the washer.

him that I was looking at washers and then the prices and he

said... " for those prices, I expect it to sort, separate, transfer

from washer to dryer, and then fold themselves " hee hee hee I guess

you could say he was NOT impressed.... I then reminded him that when

we moved here 4 years ago, I left behind my beloved Maytag.... It

would be about 8 years old now.... *sigh* It was larger than the one

I have now but hey.... We didn't have to lug it out of our old

basement. I believe our present set is on it's last leg so I want to

be prepared!
