Guest guest Posted October 11, 2008 Report Share Posted October 11, 2008 I've been having a time with my Sjogrens, waking up in the night about 5 times with a bad dry mouth and dry sinuses. Usually, a swallow or two will help go back to sleep. For the last few weeks, I've had a very bad time with it, so I talked to Betty about my 'snoring', breathing through my mouth instead of my nose. We have tried some of the 'Breathe Right' strips and haven't had the extra dry mouth since then. It's amazing what a small item will make all the difference. The first ones I tried were medicated with Vicks since that's what she had available. It is good for me! Betty started her Medicare the first of the month! And I got her into the hospital with me and my doctors. The first thing that happened was a flu shot and the beginning of 'torture'. LOL She had the MRI we've been putting off due to the lack of funds, and she needs an operation or shots in her back. She's also scheduled for a Colonoscopy, bone density, and other tests she couldn't have before. Maybe now I can get her back in shape. I hope the government doesn't go broke yet.
