I love scooters and wheelchairs which ever they may have... I have no problem riding them... I use to feel so sorry for people that had to use them but not anymore... I feel glad they can get out to use them now.... I missed you too so much Tawney... Even when you just post for other people it was so nice to read your soothing words.... Guest guest
Clora, The posts can get overwhelming for me, when I've been absent for awhile. I enjoy hearing from everyone, and I enjoy reading your posts. You keep us all going with your upbeat posts. We all need laughter in our lives, to forget our pain for awhile. I will get a steroid shot when I go to the rheumy. I usually take one every 3-6 months. I try to wait every 6 months, but I seem to get worse every day, you know how that goes. I do like how prednisone gets me out of the darkness of pain. I hope it helps me through this weekend, I'm really trying to stay positive. I'm having problems with my heel, and I've been trying to get in to see the doctor. I can't get in until next Tuesday, rats!! I believe a shot in the heel would have helped so much. I got the new guy neutered today. He thought I left him, poor thing. He was so happy to see me, and he is strong. We went out the door, and hew as draggin' me. Didn't help my flaring body, thats for sure. How are you feeling? Has your pain went away? I know you were really frightened that humira wasn't working. You probably just had a flare, and that is when the prednisone is good to use. I know you have a doc appointment close, so I understand not using it. You just know I'm always here, if you ever need to chat. You can also email me too. I appreciate your kind words, it means a lot. Sometimes I feel like I can't do anything anymore, and I just feel so worthless. So, if I can help one person to have a better day, or to make them feel more comfortable about meds, etc, its so worth it. You have a good night, and hope your pain is less each day. I will keep you in my prayers Clora, as I do so many on this group. I consider you all my RA family, take care, Tawny > > Group and Tawny; > > Yes indeed,,, pets are so comforting....
