Guest guest
I am so sorry you are having a rough time! I would give you a big hug but I am afraid I would break you! Have your ortho and rheumy spoken to one another about a plan to help you heal and to coordinate meds? I would think all of the prednisone is doing more harm than good. Are you on a calcium supplement? I wish I could make it all better, Melynda. I'm sending you a milkshake... with extra calcium in it for your bones! Enjoy! *~ Kami ~* [ ] Prayers Needed hi, i went for a recent visit to my ortho about my arm. it's still not healing like it should so i'm a lil down. he said it would take about another 4 months to heal correctly due to the severity of my ra & osteo. my bones r very fragile!!! does anyone else in the group have the combo of the two??? the prednisone is killing me slowly but surely. i'm not sure what helps anymore. having someone to help me eat & assist w/adl is very hard!! ur dependent on someone to help at all times. i'm trying to b patient but it's hard after all i've been through to have a set back like this.... needed to vent & ask for prayers, god bless, melyndagamez 10/8/08 4p.m.cdt . Guest guest
Hi Melynda; I know you are going through hell right now, and I feel awful about that. You have more than you can bear right now. I know you hate being in bed so much, and you hate having to depend on your family so much. I know they love you so much, and will do anything for you at anytime. We all like to be independant, but there are times we need people to do lots of things for us. I have you in my prayers always, and I want you to see some improvement in your recovery. It is so easy to get so depressed, and I hope it will pass soon. It is so hard to shut off our mind and thoughts. I know just what you are going through right now. I am praying that God will help you through all this, and that you will be feel much better very soon. Always remember, I do care about you very much. You are very near and dear to my heart. I so loved the phone calls you gave me while I was in the hospital. It meant so much to me. Has your dr. given you any RX for depression. I know you want to get off your meds, and hate to add 1 more pill, but I think you should call your dr. and tell them how you are feeling right now. Bad enough to be bed bound with your RA and broken arm, you don't need to be suffering from bad depression. I know just what you are going through. May God Bless you in all ways, and bring you some inner peace. Gentle hugs to you. Love, your friend, Barb > > I am so sorry you are having a rough time!
