But look at this way, at least you will know that you don't have to totally rely on him for your insurance, now you have a backup plan. LOL. The way the Medicare works in my state as my husband is still employed and I am still on his insurance is that because there are under 100 employees at his employer, my Medicare is primary. Apparently, it depends on the size of the company that your husband works at. This may vary from state to state I do not know, I just know that is how it is here in Maine. Good luck!
