Guest guest
When I first took Mtx, I had nausea and fatigue. I had that from the RA, but it was magnified. I got rapid heartbeat from Prednisone. I have had some borderline thyroid problems, but that also was magnified. So I can't exercise much with my heart beating so fast. Because of the side-effects of the Mtx, he cut me down to 4 pills a week and added Arava. That also makes me a little sick, but I get used to it after awhile. So this week I am unable to take Mtx and Arava. The pain is coming back and I still feel fatigue. Here I thought it was all from the drugs. My GI wants me to switch to Remicade because it helps with Crohn's and IBD and I'm having a lot of trouble with IBD right now. Also my PC thinks I should stop Arava because of the possible respitory side-effects. I had chronic sinus infection before I started all these. I'm not completely happy with the drugs I am on right now, but I know it takes a while to get it right. I see the RA doc October 1st and hope that he decides to switch to Remicade at that time. But I AM living almost a normal life. I work two part time jobs. One is teaching contemporary line dancing, so I am on my feet and moving most of the time for three hours or more. The drugs have given that back to me. dd **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges?
