OT: Thanks for the replies about WASHING MACHINES!

Thank you all VERY MUCH for your replies and recommendations!!!!!

My husband, who travels frequently, is away this week and I told him that I was

looking at washers and then the prices and he said... " for those prices, I

expect it to sort, separate, transfer from washer to dryer, and then fold

themselves " hee hee hee I guess you could say he was NOT impressed.... I then

reminded him that when we moved here 4 years ago, I left behind my beloved

Maytag.... It would be about 8 years old now.... *sigh* It was larger than the

one I have now but hey.... We didn't have to lug it out of our old basement. I

believe our present set is on it's last leg so I want to be prepared!
