Guest guest
Sorry t3.hat I have been off line for a few days, but my oldest daughter gave birth to a tiny (3 lb. 13 oz) baby girl at only 32 weeks. Both my daughter and granddaughter are doing OK. My daughter, Vickie had a very long labor (38 hours) and Madyson, my new granddaughter is in the NICU. Please keep them both in your prayers. I am going to oncologist tomorrow for an iron infusion and then to the hospital to check on my little ones. I am so tired, Vickie water broke 1:00 am on Monday and the baby wasn't born until this AM. I have severe bursitis in my one shoulder and have had to cancel appts with my orthopedic doc for a cortisone shot because of this baby thing. Trying to keep a smiling! Gentle, tender, angel hugs to those you love and lkove you....................... Debs in FL

Guest guest
Congratulations on the new granddaughter, Debs! Is this your first grandchild? How tiny she is! I hope and pray that she will do fine and prosper well. Grandkids really are grand; they're named appropriately. Hope you can soon get that cortisone shot. Guest guest
Congrats, Grandma! Vickie and Madyson will be in my prayers. Madyson is small, but these days they can do so much in the NICU! BTW, I just saw the most adorable preemie clothes in s. When my granddaughters were born in Dec 2004 (4lb 8 oz and 5lb, not nearly as small as Madison), I searched all over and bought a couple of stores out of preemie clothes, there was so little out there. Take care of yourself, Vickie's probably going to need some help when Madyson does get to come home. Feeding every two hours was a big job! Get that cortisone shot so you can pick your granddaughter up and carry her around. Guest guest
Deb, I will keep your family in my prayers. One of the things I have done since forced retirement I watch all the baby shows, Most of the shows are about preemie babies. It is amazing how much they can do with tiny babies. You need to try to find a bit of time for you. That baby and her Mama will need grandma and you will need to be in good shape to step in.Let us know how things are going and remember if God brings us to it, he will bring us through it. Guest guest
Congratulations on becoming a grandma! I am a happy Grammy to 11 and know how wonderful grandkids are. They also will wear a body out so make sure you rest yourself and get that shoulder taken care of when you are able. Phyllis in TN
