Hi,

As most know, I'm thinking about getting a scooter or power chair. I

am on medicare, and curious to know what I'll be paying. I've heard

medicare usually pays all, except 20% If anyone has already been

through the procedure, would love to hear from you.

Thanks so much, Tawny

Tawny, as far as I know you have to not be able to walk to the bathroom by

yourself, no more than 2-3 steps. I don't know the real deal, just that the

store I got my scooter through didn't file the papers right, so it came out

of my pocket. We got the chair for Betty from a Goodwill for next to

nothing. Things may have been made easier now but there are abuses still

costing the taxpayers a ton. I have recommended The Scooter Store as a good

place to do business with. Check with them, they can tell you the real

story.

Thanks Dennis for your info. I will probably get a second hand

scooter. I can still get around, but at times I can't. The scooter

store will be my stop, if I can't find a cheap one around town.

Thanks Tawny
