Phyllis and Doreen/RA and Strep throat

I read that mtx and antibiotics don't mix well. That's because the

antibiotic kills the bowel flora needed to metabolise the mtx

properly, and if it doesn't get metabolised, it builds up in the

system and can be more toxic. However, i know ppl who take both abx

and mtx with no apparanent problembs, so who knows!
